About

Zbavitel Studio & Gallery is owned by Carolyn Zbavitel who has specialized in pet portaits and landscapes of all kinds for the last 25 years. She paints in many mediums but her passion is the difficult medium of watercolor. She has studied with master artists such as Alvaro Castagnet, Herman Pekel, Carla O’Connor, Frank Web, and Agnes Copeland, among others. Memberships past and present include the prestigious American Watercolor Society, Fallbrook Art Association, San Diego Watercolor Society, and the Watercolor Society of North Carolina. She has been exhibiting her work in juried shows and invitationals since 2006 and has won numerous awards.
